The aim of this workshop is to explore the evolving dynamics of human trafficking and present societal-oriented research findings from the VANGUARD Horizon Europe project. The discussions will focus on:
- Vulnerabilities of victims and perpetrators in the new AI era
- The role of survivors in countering trafficking
- Holistic approaches to support professionals in the field
- Lessons from European cooperation on THB
The event is organised in collaboration with other EU-funded projects addressing human trafficking, including Eradicating Labour Trafficking, ASIT, ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฃ๐ง, and SafeBorders, promoting cross-project dialogue and knowledge exchange. The outcomes will contribute to enhancing the European Unionโs understanding of and fight against the human trafficking phenomenon, by raising awareness and preventing further future exploitation.ย
The webinar will take place on October 22, 2025, online and it will last for 2 hours (from 11:00-13:00 CEST)
