EXIS aims to develop a multidisciplinary police reporting approach that effectively responds to crimes against LGBTIQ+ people, spanning from individual psychological or physical violence, harassment, and discrimination to organised criminal activities, etc. This will be achieved through capacity-building activities based on identified needs and gaps, as well as peer-to-peer learning techniques. EXIS project focuses on increasing knowledge of the intersectoral approach and strengthening multi-disciplinary cooperation among police officers, CSOs, and other relevant services to efficiently respond to the needs of LGBTIQ+ people.
