CO-SECUR (Co-creating urban security solutions in Europe), is a 3-year Horizon Europe project that aims to improve citizens’ security perception and behaviour in public spaces, especially at large events and crowded areas, by actively engaging them to co-create innovative security solutions. The project brings together existing knowledge, provide concrete tools and capacity-building activities, and present evidence-based results to promote good policy decisions. Its most important outcome will be the co-creation of a Societal Development Plan (SDP) to encourage the use of innovative security solutions that are sustainable, scalable, and effective.
