The fourth consortium meeting of the VANGUARD project was held on June 4-5, 2025, in Lisbon, Portugal, hosted by the Portuguese Criminal Investigation Police (PJ).
During this meeting, relevant updates were shared on the progress of key activities completed during the first half of the project, emphasising on the finalisation of the desktop and empirical research, as well as on the demonstration of the first version of the suite of AI-driven tools and their integration in the developed VANGUARD ToolSuite. Parallel to that, the meeting featured productive discussions among participants, while particular attention was given to a well-rounded preparation for the upcoming mid-term official review from the European Commission.
The meeting concluded with a detailed plan to be followed until the next project meeting.
